It takes a lot of trust to write a blog. Trust that people actually care enough to read your blog. Trust that people reading won’t judge you. Trust that your post doesn’t bite you back in the future. Is it really trust? or naivety?
Holding a grudge is like holding a dandelion in your hand and trying to stop the seeds from flying away. It takes so much energy that you forget why you’re holding it in the first place. Just let the wind blow them away and you can be as free as each each that floats away into the sky.
So many events have occurred in the past week. My prayers and my thoughts go out to those in Japan, the ones trapped beneath everything, the ones looking for them and the ones who love them.
I pray that they will not fear… God will be their refuge and strength.
So you may wonder why I haven’t posted anything in a while… this is the reason:

Such an addictive game. You’re a prosecutor and basically going around looking for clues to solve murders. You look for evidence, combine logic, and look for contradictions in testimony. This is the 4th one in the series of Ace Attorney though. The first 3, you were a defense lawyer named Phoenix Wright, but I guess they decided to change it up for this one. I love them all. You have to read quite a bit and think a little bit, but not too much. If you’ve ever wanted to be a lawyer, this game may be the stupidest thing ever, but, it’s the perfect time killer :)
How amazing would it be to have one of these in your house? Disguised as a coffee table, you’ll probably never use it as one, being too busy playing Space Invaders. When I get a spare $3500 in my pocket, Stealth arcade table please!

No matter what anyone says, Happy Valley is my favourite hill of all times. You can just feel all your cares melt away leaving you in a content mood that will last you through the day. What’s even better, is when you get to do it with a bunch of friends. That is the life.
Last night, I spent some good ol’ quality time with some of my dearest talking about life, work and boys. It was amazing since I don’t think we’ve spent time like that all together for a long long time. A wonderful 3 hours of QT. <3 We went to Paintlounge which is this little cute place hidden in the corner at Warden and Hwy 7.

They specialize in loose leaf teas, but also have amazing lattes and steamies (mint tea hot chocolate… highly recommended). In the back, they also have probably a dozen or so paint easels and paint set up with a variety of sizes of canvases to purchase. It’s definitely a nice place to just chill with friends, hang out with your laptop on the free wifi, or paint a masterpiece. All around the walls too are large mural canvases with which what you can do “art improv”. You can purchase a small square for $2 and paint a little picture to the mural to your heart’s desire. I wish I had taken a picture of the walls, because there are pretty interesting things there. You don’t have to be an artist or anything and there are no restrictions to what you can put on them. There are bunnies, flowers, Mona Lisas, tetris snap shot, cartoon characters, phone numbers (haha) and so many other designs and logos.
What I realized though, was that they were missing just one thing… and elephant. And of course, since I couldn’t deprive them of that, I bought a little square and painted. It was quite zen painting on the wall, all your worries melt away with each stroke and concentration. My mind weaved in and out of conversations around the table until my masterpiece was done.

I’m definitely going back to paint me a huge one of these. :D
After a long week of intense studying and stress, a nice cold celebratory beer is a must. And what better than drinking a celebratory elephant beer. I swear I’m not biased because the logo is an elephant, but I must say Delirium tremens is probably one of my favourite beers. It’s light, but not super light, not super bitter either like the darker beers. It’s just perfect. Next may be the super sweet and girly strawberry Frulli, then Leffe blonde. Yes, I love Belgian beers. Now if only I was older when I did go to Belgium, then I’d be in my very own beer heaven :) But for now, I will enjoy my cool celebratory Delirium tremens and my stolen Delirium tremens coaster. Cheers. :)
Stressed is desserts spelled backwards. That means, when you’re stressed, you can eat desserts. Thus, in the state I am in, lots of stress entitles me to lots desserts, right? Right. Besides, the stress can easily burn away all the calories you intake. … I’m going to keep believing that.

I also wish I was turning 1 again. When you’re 1, you’re not as stressed either.
